Year Became Director: 2025

Mr. Best joined Franklin Financial and F&M Trust as President and as a Diector on January 14, 2025.  He was named Chief Executive Officer on April 29, 2025.  Mr. Best brings more than 40 years of banking experience to the organization, specializing in merger and acquisition, corporate banking, retail banking, and credit administration. Before joining F&M Trust, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Peoples Security Bank and Trust Company and the bank holding company, Peoples Financial Corp.

Best earned an Economics Degree from Princeton University.
